The LDH Foundation for Youth has supported many endeavors over the past ten years.
Among them are:
1. Redoing the Monsignor Kelly Baseball Field and Building of Press Box and Concession Stand.
2. Contributing to the Monsignor Kelly Catholic High School Fitness and Weight room.
3. Contributions to area high school athletic and baseball programs.
4. Support of the Lamar University and University of New Orleans Athletic program.
5. Support of various area summer league baseball teams.
6. Granting requests for payment of books and/or tuition for several area Lamar students.
7. Supporting area youth and sponsoring them for summer league baseball participation. In particular current Cincinnati Reds outfielder and former Westbrook standout Jay Bruce.
